This customer already had sliding sash windows – made from Idigbo fitted around 20 years ago but they were now getting dated and because of the single glazing and the lack of draught proofing it was making the rooms very cold. So they contacted us for new windows but after a site survey we could see that the outer box of the sliding sash window was still fine, this meant we could save the customer money by just replacing the sashes with new double glazed Idigbo sashes to match the existing boxes and also replace the old staff and parting beads with new which incorporated draught proofing, which made the rooms much warmer and therefore solved there problem whilst saving money.
