Once we have received an enquiry we will come out to visit your home. and discuss all the various options, which range from deciding on the design of the window to the type of timber used, whether you want to copy the original design or choose your own design.
Most people decide they want to have the sliding sash windows professionally sprayed using the Teknos system, as it is difficult to paint these intricate windows once installed. Teknos are one of the leading manufacturers in the painting and finishing trade.
You can also choose between the traditional weight and pulley system or the simpler system which uses sash balances. All this can be seen on our sample window which has been professionally sprayed.
All our windows and doors are constructed using the traditional mortice and Tenon joints and all made from solid, sustainable sections of timber (not engineered or veneered).
We can use any sustainable wood but the preferred choice is Accoya due to its long lasting durability.
